Participating as a Mentee

Preconditions for successful mentoring

For mentoring to be a success, it depends on the mentee’s personal contribution. Your commitment and dedication are required throughout the entire process. The FAUmentoring program ARIADNErewi enables you to develop individual strategies together with your mentor or your peer network. What you should not expect are ready-made solutions to your career questions.

Who can participate?

FAUmentoring ARIADNErewi is aimed at female early career researchers who are pursuing an academic career:

• PhD students,
• postdoctoral researchers and habilitands at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law
• female students of the School of Law in the final phase of their studies

Personal requirements for admission

You should meet the following personal requirements for admission to the program:

• Interest in an academic career
• Willingness to deal with constructive feedback
• Commitment and initiative, active participation in mentoring
• Objectives that you want to achieve during the mentoring phase

Application documents

The admission process comprises a written application and a personal interview.
