Participation as a mentee (ARIADNEmedPEER)

Requirements

You can participate in the ARIADNEmedPEER program as:

  • habilitated doctor of the University Hospital Erlangen-Nuremberg
  • habilitated scientist at the Faculty of Medicine at FAU (human medicine, dentistry, natural sciences, psychology, etc.)

What you need:

  • Willingness and resources to make time for the regular work meetings (once a month)
  • Sufficient motivation and energy to adequately prepare for and follow up on the meetings
  • A clear idea of what you want to achieve in the mentoring meetings

Important!

  • The peer group, consisting of 4-6 mentees, is responsible for planning the regular meetings and defining the content and objectives! The program concept is based on the active attendance of the individual participants and their self-organization (and planning) of the peer group meetings!
  • The program coordinator develops the event program in agreement with the mentees and supports the peer group in the various processes.

Required application documents:

  • ARIADNEmedPeer profile and application form for mentees
  • Curriculum vitae in tabular form
  • University degree certificates, license to practice medicine if applicable
  • Doctoral/post-doctoral certificate
  • References, if applicable

The two-stage selection procedure for ARIADNEmedPEER consists of submitting the application documents and a subsequent personal interview.
