📚Content and Goals
Peer Consulting is a basic method that enables participants to work effectively on their own questions and concerns while benefiting from the experiences and perspectives of their fellow mentees.
In a structured and moderated setting, you present a question or describe a professional challenge that is currently on your mind. The consultation group then asks targeted follow-up questions and analyses the case from different perspectives.
Whether it is about an ambiguous statement made by a supervisor, an upcoming conference presentation, a conflict within your team, or uncertainty regarding a decision: collegial consultation offers you the opportunity to gain new perspectives, gather additional opinions, and develop possible solutions together.
Anna Isenmann is a state-certified social worker and, through her professional experience in social work, has extensive expertise in this method. She will introduce you to the approach and moderate the session.

A World Café is a structured, interactive format designed to foster dialogue and collective learning. Participants discuss key questions in small groups. Groups (Visitors) rotate between tables with one or more dedicated Table Hosts so that ideas can “connect” and evolve. The focus is on open, reflective dialogue rather than decision-making.

📚About the speaker and the content
Dr. Silke Oehrlein-Karpi:
She works as a coach for academics and facilitates group coaching sessions. She worked for several years as a project manager at an institute at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, where she led a subproject in an SFB at Unimedizin Mainz during a funding period. In addition to her many years of experience in individual coaching, she conducts topic-focused interactive workshops that take into account the specifics of the academic system and the various disciplines.
